I am working with one of Britain’s leading general insurers, they employ thousands of people throughout the UK.


Over the past few years their team has built a new specialist operating model combining Commercial Management, Procurement and Supply Chain into a single centralised function. The changes and improvements have resulted into increase efficiencies and collaboration around the team.

We are looking for a commercially minded, self-starting Commercial Manager to join the team within their IT & BPO category. This role plays a key role in managing their suppliers, managing risk and ensuring that the end customer receives excellent service through consistent supplier outcomes.


You would be responsible for:

  • Working closely with suppliers
  • Developing long term value adding supplier and relationship strategies that are aligned to business, category and supply chain strategies
  • Leading commercial relationships with suppliers, including resolving and mitigating solutions where supplier performance is under expected standards
  • Delivering ongoing and increasing benefits to the business through the effective engagement of suppliers


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in a sourcing role
  • Strong influencing skills
  • The ability to work autonomously
  • A strong can-do attitude


The role will be based in SE London and they are looking to pay £48k + bonus + an excellent benefits package.
