We are currently recruiting for a rapidly growing client in the Food&Drinks sector. They are looking for a Procurement Manager to join their leadership team and head up their new procurement function.
Our client takes pride in the quality of service they provide their clients and cooperative supplier relationships are essential to ensure exceptional performance.
Therefore, we are are looking for a passionate Procurement professional who has the drive and energy to create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, who is also confident around people, and a good team player!
The role would suit somebody who has a few years of buying experience and is ready to step up and get involved with a business where they can really make a difference.
You will lead a team which will include buyers and logistics staff who will aid you with the tactical aspect of the job, and whom you will train and monitor.
A degree of commercial awareness is also important for this role, as well strong people skills as a key focus of this role is networking with suppliers. The position will also involve travel to supplier sites, and you will be given a company car.
Outside of your team, you will work very closely with the MD and other departmental managers and continuously find new ways to improve quality and efficiency in order to remain a market leader within the niche the business has already been proving itself in.
