My Global Pharmaceutical client is looking to make an urgent and critical hire into their UK HQ and are in need of a highly experienced Supply Chain Excellence Manager. You would be tasked with the continuous improvement of E2E supply chain processes and systems (including but not limited to the areas of S&OP, Order to Cash, Master Data Management, serialisation etc) and would need to be skilled within change management.


Your key role would be to work with all regions of the business (International) to develop and implement continuous improvement and improve business process to enable an optimized and efficient Supply Chain.


Key Responsibilities;


  • In this role, you would be a key member of the Supply Chain Team and expected to play a full part in driving developments and improvements across the department.
  • Create, monitor and optimise the relevant supply chain and cross functional processes to ensure best practices are in place to deliver the business objectives.
  • Lead the development of existing and new supply chain planning systems and tools.
  • Be the SME for S&OP and Supply Chain processes and support cross functional teams, partners and suppliers with regards to S&OP implementation and improvements.
  • Establish and lead a global matrix user/stakeholder network to ensure standardised and robust business processes that are fit for purpose across global locations.   
  • Be the SME for Serialisation, and support partners with regards to Serialisation with 3PLs to be aligned with the global, regional and national requirements.
  • Develop strong working relationships internally and externally, ensure early identification of supply chain risks to ensure they are eliminated or significantly mitigated.
  • To motivate, inspire, and encourage individuals in the achieving of departmental goals.
  • Support the process of continuous improvement with the aim to reduce cost, improve quality and increase efficiency.





  • Bachelor’s degree or Supply Chain qualification demonstrating suitable level of experience.
  • In-depth understanding of end to end Supply Chain.
  • Moderate understanding of financial planning.
  • Experience in business change management. 
  • Project/Programme management.
